Taking the folk history of the United States around the world, American Folk Dance Ensemble creates a colorful tapestry of the rich cultural history of the U.s.. Each performance is a cultural expression, strongly associated with a specific group or people as a reflection of American custom and belief. Their fast-paced, superbly staged programme includes Appalachian apartment-ground, Southern waltzes, traditional clogging, foursquare dancing, the western swing, and other performances.
