I genuinely appreciate the efforts people make to exist helpful.
Merely solutions that involve committing to practices exactly the reverse of customers' clear intent tin simply serve to incentivize the bad behaviour of the vendor, in this case Microsoft.
It absolutely should non exist necessary to surrender all admission to your physical device to a software company, just to make proper use of the software purchased from that company.
Which is the effect of using your Microsoft business relationship as your log in account to access your ain device. Information technology's bad enough that vendors treat cell phones as their individual holding even after customers pay hundreds of dollars to own them, but it cannot be allowed to cross over to laptops and desktops.
I'm having this same sign in problem, erratically, and I've received the aforementioned advice.
Keeping a local account is non trivial to begin with, having to sentinel out for the automatic "express" configuration so getting periodically hounded by the software to requite in. Information technology should be credible and so that those who have opted to keep their individual property separate from the vendors account do non want to exist forced to practice otherwise.
The fact that this is a persisitent problem, not just with Store, only with Onenote and game apps, would motivate a less powerful role player to try to accomodate customers byt fixing it rather than thumbing their noses at us.
For clarity, I do not have this problem signing in using Edge or even Firefox. I do not have the trouble signing into Office 365. Information technology only presents itself when trying to sign into the Windows Store or using one of the downloaded apps.
One exception to that is OneNote 2016 wich is part of Office 365. If I sign in via some other office plan, I have no problems with OneNote. If I effort to sign in with just OneNote, it mocks me. And the mobile app version won't even launch, simply flashes and shuts downwardly. So Function 365 is not entirely free from this included feature of Microsoft products and to resolve bug on the mobile I simply uninstalled all Microsoft products, which I am not willing to do on my laptop. I like MS products. A lot. Why they won't act to make them less painful to use is confounding.
But where is there whatsoever hint of a solution, rather than a work-effectually that forces the customer'due south hand?
