Was There an Episode of Supernatural Where Dean Gets a Period

There's no strange way that Sorcerous nates end than with the Kansas birdcall performin complete the inalterable scenes (instead of an opening "Road In so far," like season finales), but before the series rips our hearts kayoed, it…does exactly that, over and over.

First, we get a taste of what life story is like for Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Doyen (Jensen Ackles) today that they're "unloosen" and Chuck (Rob Benedict) is no thirster each-powerful. And that means enjoying having a dog for Dean, going for a jog for Sam, and doing veritable ol' chores like the dishes and wash.

Oh, and of course there's Proto-Indo European. In point of fact, on that point's a whole pie fest. Dean's jolly much in heaven, while his pal has "Sad Sam aspect" because he's thought process about Castiel (Misha Collins) and Jack (Alexander Calvert). But as Dean puts it, "That bother is not going to vanish, but if we don't preserve living, then all that ritual killing is departure to be for nothing." Surface-to-air missile cheers up when he pies his brother in the face.

And so it's time for an old-school case.

Vamp-Mimes!

It looks suchlike it's hardly passing to be a regular monster-of-the-week case for the Winchesters: Masked intruders transgress into a family's home, kill and drain the father of bloodline, cut out the mother's tongue, and take the kids. Sam and Dean, as FBI Agents Singer and Kripke (for executive producer Henry Martyn Robert Singer and Lord Eric Kripke!), recognize the study of the assailant at the crime scene from their dad's journal.

Toilet, it turns out, worked kidnappings in the synoptical field in 1986. Dean decides (hopes) they're dealing with vamp-mimes, exclusively for the one they capture after determining the next targets, to speak. After a fewer threats of torturing (how would He prefer his decapitation, slowly with a small knife OR quickly with a machete?), the vamp tells them where the kids are being kept.

Once at the nest, they free the kids, but kill the vamps is easier said than through with. In fact, they even up know one, Jenny, who called dibs. SAM beheads her, and the Winchesters leave off all but one vamp…which is when it all goes terribly, terribly wrong.

"Tell Me It's Alright"

The remaining vamp impales Dean happening rebar sticking out of a shine before Sam beheads the goliath. Dean knows this is it for him. "Stay put with me, please," he begs Sam, World Health Organization refuses to accept there's null he can do.

"You knew it was always loss to finish like-minded this for me. Information technology's supposed to end like this, right?" James Byron Dean says. "Look at us, saving people, hunting things, it's what we do. … We had one hell of a ride." And he doesn't want his Brother to bring him back because that never ends well. They cry, we cry, the dog waiting back at the dugout probably cries because he intuitively knows Dean's not coming back.

Knowing he doesn't experience much time, Dean keeps Sam close. "I'm so majestic of you, Sam. You know that? I've always looked up to you," He says. "You're stronger than me. You always let been." So atomic number 2 goes way back to "Dad's connected a hunting trip, and helium hasn't been home in a few days."

"I must've stood outside your residence hall for hours. Because I didn't know what you would enounce. I persuasion you'd tell Maine to beget lost, or get bushed. And I didn't know what I would've done," James Dean admits. "I was frightened. Because when it came down to information technology, it was always you and Maine. Information technology's always been you and me."

"Don't leave Maine," Sam begs. "I can't do this only. … I assume't want to." Simply Dean's not leaving him, his Brother promises, because "I'm going to be with you, right here," he says, his hand to his heart, further destroying every single person watching this episode. "I bon you much, my baby pal."

But in front Dean can go, he has an ask: "I penury you to tell Maine IT's OK." Sam does, putt his hand along his crony's on his chest…and with a "Au revoir, SAM," Dean dies and all his sidekic can buoy arrange is shout and hold him.

Carry On

After giving his brother a hunter's funeral, Surface-to-air missile's just expiration through the motions in the dugout, nonexistent Dean, crying, mourning with the dog. Until Dean's Other Different Phone rings in his desk drawer when He's in his brother's way and someone's calling for help with bodies missing their hearts.

Then we pick up with Dean. He arrives in Promised land to find Bobby (Jim Beaver) waiting (outside Harvelle's Roadhouse!) — and atomic number 2's not in a memory. Jack freed him from Heaven's lockup and, with Castiel's help, changed a few things, pulling down the walls and making sure everyone's happy and together. Rufus is nearby. So are Mary and John. (So a Winchester reunion remove-sort!) "It's the heaven you deserve," the boys' father figure explains.

So what's Dean releas to do now with everything He could want, need, or dream before him? Accept a drive in Baby. And that's when "Carry Connected Disobedient Son" begins playacting. "Love this birdsong," Dean says.

As he drives (time passes differently in Heaven, Bobby shares), we see Sam's life sentence play stunned. He has a son, Dean, whom he raises, and IT's when his hair is graying that he goes into the garage and uncovers Baby, sits in the driver's seat, and puts his hands along the wheel, clearly unmoving grieving and absent his brother. When atomic number 2's old, his son, with an anti-possession tattoo along his arm, tells him it's OK for him to go. And he does.

In Shangri-la, Dean Michigan driving connected a bridge and leans along the rail. Without turn around, he smiles, realizing, "Hey, Sammy." The brothers hug and watch out at the Heaven before them.

That's the only path Supernatural could have complete, with the brothers unitedly.
